Revised Hilāl Announcement – Zhul Qa’dah 1447 (The Moon has been sighted)

Notwithstanding our earlier communication of no sighting tonight, we have now received and verified reports of the moon being sighted in Gauteng. Accordingly, the 1st of Zhul Qa’dah will be tomorrow, Sunday, 19 April 2026.

As previously stated, we ordinarily release our announcement at moonset. However, when a late credible report is received, we are duty-bound to process and act upon it.
