 سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

Glory be to You, O Allah, with all Praise; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

Sunnats and Aadaab of Keeping the Hair – Part 9

Haircut1. It is Sunnah for one to oil the hair regularly.

عن أنس بن مالك قال : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يكثر دهن رأسه وتسريح لحيته ، ويكثر القناع حتى كأن ثوبه ثوب زيات (الشمائل للترمذي رقم 33)

Hadhrat Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would regularly oil his mubaarak hair and comb his mubaarak beard, and he would often wear a cloth (beneath his turban when he applied oil to prevent the oil from soiling the turban).

Sunnats and Aadaab of Greeting (Salaam) – Part 19

1. It is sunnah for one to greet children with salaam. When Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would see children, he made salaam to them

وعن أنس قال : إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مر على غلمان فسلم عليهم (مسلم رقم 2168)

Hazrat Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that on one occasion Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) passed by a group of children, and he made salaam to them.”
