Duaa After Azaan – 3

One should recite the following Duaa after azaan:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ النَّافِعةِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَارْضَ عَنّي رِضَاءً لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ

O Allah, Rabb of this lasting call (which will continue until the day of Qiyaamah) and this beneficial salaah, confer Your special blessings upon Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and bless me with Your everlasting pleasure which is such that You would never be displeased with me thereafter.

عن جابر أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : من قال حين ينادي المنادي : اللهم رب هذه الدعوة القائمة والصلاة النافعة صل على محمد وارض عني رضاء لا سخط بعده استجاب الله له دعوته  رواه أحمد والطبراني في الأوسط وفيه ابن لهيعة وفيه ضعف (مجمع الزوائد رقم 1875)

Hazrat Jaabir (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever recites the following Duaa after azaan, Allah Ta’ala will accept his Duaa:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ النَّافِعةِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَارْضَ عَنّي رِضَاءً لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ
