After deliberation with the Senior  Ulema of the country, all the Senior Ulama of Wifaq ul Ulama South Africa agree that Thursday 23rd July 2020 is the first of Dhul Hijjah 1441, and Eidul Adhaa will be on Saturday 1st of August 2020 insha Allah.

Furthermore, we advise the community not to make this a means of conflict and disunity.

We apologise for the delay in making this announcement.

It was due to the fact that extensive deliberation was required on the matter and therefore an immediate decision could not be taken.
