Floods in Malaysia and Challenges Facing the Ummah Globally

In the recent past, the Ummah around the world has witnessed great tests from Allah Ta’āla. These tests are sent by Allah Ta’āla to raise the ranks of this Ummah; to forgive their sins and to remind those of us who have forgotten our purpose to turn to Him in repentance and Tawbah.

The severe flooding in Malaysia is a cause of great difficulty for those affected.

Muslims in Myanmar, Kashmir, Syria and other parts of the world continue to face difficulties.
May Allah Ta’aala make it easy for those affected by these challenges; May He grant them patience in these times; May He recompense them abundantly for whatever they have lost.

The Muslim Ummah at large and especially the Muslims in South Africa are requested to remember them and all distressed Muslims in their dua.

The least each one of us can do is to make abundant istighfār and perform 2 rakāts of Salah and make duā for them. It is our duty to support our fellow Muslim brethren. We will be greatly rewarded for whatever support we render, be it financial or moral.

Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “The Muslim Ummah in their mercy upon each other, love and concern for each other are like one body. When a part of the body is sick, the entire body responds with fever and sleeplessness.” Bukhari 6011

May Allah Ta’āla grant us the ability to assist every Muslim who is in need and thereby cool the eyes of our beloved Nabi Karīm sallallāhu alayhi wa sallam. Āmīn
