Salaah in Al-Masjid An-Nabawi Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam

Hazrat Anas Radiyallahu ‘Anhu reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam said, “Whoever performs forty Salaah in my Masjid, not missing one Salaah in the Masjid, for him is freedom from the fire of Jahannam, and freedom from punishment and he shall remain free of hypocrisy.” [Musnad Ahmad, vol.2 pg.155,  Majma’uz Zawaaid, vol.4 pg.8]

This is indeed a great reward which is easy for the visitor of Madinah Munawwarah to obtain. One should stay in Madinah Munawwarah for at least eight days and should make that agreement with their agents to stay for eight days. In this manner they will get their forty Salaah in Al-Masjid An-Nabawi. They should try their utmost not to miss one Salaah in between.

If necessary, visits to places of interest (Ziyaarats), should be done between Fajr and Zuhr Salaah. They should perform Fajr in Al-Masjid An-Nabawi and having visited those places after Fajr, return to perform Zuhr Salaah in Al-Masjid An-Nabawi.
