One should recite one hundred Aayaat at night

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم  من حافظ على هؤلاء الصلوات المكتوبات لم يكتب من الغافلين ومن قرأ في ليلة مائة آية كتب من القانتين. هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يخرجاه (المستدرك للحاكم رقم 1160)

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever safeguards his obligatory salaah will not be written from those who are unmindful of Allah Ta’ala’s remembrance, and the one who recites one hundred aayaat at night will be written from those who are firm in their obedience to Allah Ta’ala.
