Reciting Ten Aayaat of Surah Baqarah at Night

One should recite the following ten Aayaat at night; the four beginning verses of Surah Baqarah, Aayatul Kursi and its following two verses, and the last three verses of Surah Baqarah.

عن الشعبي قال : قال عبد الله يعني ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه : من قرأ عشر آيات من سورة البقرة في بيت لم يدخل ذلك البيت شيطان تلك الليلة حتى يصبح أربع آيات من أولها وآية الكرسي وآيتين بعدها وخواتيمها رواه الطبراني ورجاله رجال الصحيح إلا أن الشعبي لم يسمع من ابن مسعود (مجمع الزوائد رقم 17013)

It is reported that Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mas’ood (Radhiyallahu Anhu) said: “Whoever recites the following ten verses of Surah Baqarah in a house, Shaytaan will not enter that house for that night till the morning; the beginning four verses of the surah, Aayatul Kursi and its following two verses, and the last three verses of the surah.”
