And on that day, the believers will rejoice over Allāh Ta’ālā’s help. He helps whomsoever He wills. And He is the Mighty, the Most-Merciful. It is a promise from Allāh. Allāh does not fail in His promise, but most people do not know. (Al Qur’ān 30/5-6)
With Allāh Ta’ālā’s mercy, Bashar al-Assad’s oppressive reign in Syria has finally been crushed. The Assad family’s legacy is marred by decades of brutal suppression and massacre of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamā’ah, spanning over 50 years.
Syria’s shocking reality is evident from emerging reports. The dignity of countless Muslim women was brutally violated. Over half a million innocent Muslims have been mercilessly slaughtered. Hundreds of thousands have been languishing in prisons for decades, subjected to unimaginable suffering. Millions have been forcibly displaced, leaving families shattered and communities torn apart. Countless women have been widowed and children orphaned, their lives forever scarred by the trauma of war.
The indiscriminate bombing continued unabated; a stark reminder of the deep hatred held by the Shia for the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamā’ah. These atrocities were carried out with the full support of the Shia regime in Iran and its proxy, Hezbollah of Lebanon. This is yet another reference in the long history of Shia betrayal. Likewise, it serves as another lesson for those who continue calling for Sunni-Shia unity. When in a position of power, they thrive on the misery of the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah. Their treachery knows no bounds. Let us not be fooled by their plans. May Allah Ta’ālā protect us! Āmīn
Is it not ironic that those who went to the ICJ (International Court of Justice) as the so-called ‘champions of the Palestinian cause’ are blind to the years of oppression meted out to the Muslims in Syria?
Alhamdulillāh, the relief is palpable in Syria due to the removal of this oppressive ruler. May Allah Ta’ālā grant them leaders who will rule by the standards taught to us by Nabi Sallallāhu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam and his illustrious Khulafā. Āmīn
Allāh Ta’ālā mentions in the Qur’ān Karīm:
They are those who, if granted authority in the land by Us, would establish (Salāh) prayer, pay Zakāt, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil. And with Allāh rests the outcome of all affairs. (Al Qur’ān 22/41)
Once a Muslim nation is granted leadership, it should, among other responsibilities, be particular about establishing Salāh, paying Zakāt, calling towards good, and forbidding evil. Muslims throughout the world should also engage in these actions to draw the mercy of Allāh Ta’ālā.
Only Allāh Ta’ālā knows the reality of whatever has transpired. Our Du’ās should be with the Muslims in Syria and throughout the world.
We beseech Allāh Ta’ālā to guide them in making decisions that earn His pleasure. May He protect them and raise leaders among them who will rule with justice, mercy, and truth. Āmīn
