Du’aa To Be Recited After Performing The Sunnats Of Fajr

After performing the sunnats of Fajr, one should recite the following Duaa thrice while seated in his place:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبِّ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ وَمُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ

O Allah, the Rabb of Hadhrat Jibreel, Mika’eel , Israafeel (Alayhimus Salaam), and Nabi Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), I seek Your protection from the fire of Jahannum.

عن أبي المليح (عامر بن أسامة) عن أبيه رضي الله عنه أنه صلى ركعتي الفجر ، وأن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى قريبا منه ركعتين خفيفتين ثم سمعه يقول وهو جالس: اللهم رب جبريل وإسرافيل وميكائيل ومحمد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، أعوذ بك من النار ثلاث مرات (عمل اليوم والليلة لابن السني رقم 103)

Hazrat Usaamah bin Aamir (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that he had performed his two rakaats sunnah of Fajr, while Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was near him performing his two rakaats sunnah salaah which were short. He thereafter heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) recite the following duaa thrice while he was seated in his place:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبِّ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ وَمُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ
