وعن أبي ذر رضي الله عنه قال قلت يا رسول الله أوصني قال عليك بتقوى الله فإنه رأس الأمر كله قلت يا رسول الله زدني قال عليك بتلاوة القرآن فإنه نور لك في الأرض وذخر لك في السماء رواه ابن حبان في صحيحه في حديث طويل (الترغيب والترهيب رقم 2193)

1. If one wishes to change his clothes in a room where the Qur’aan Majeed is kept, then one should first put the Qur’aan Majeed in the cupboard, drawer etc.…

1. It is not permissible for one to get involved in interest bearing transactions. The giving and taking of interest are both haraam in Islam.…

1. One of the rights of the Qur’aan Majeed is to ponder over its content and meaning in order that one may practice on the injunctions of the Qur’aan Majeed correctly.…

1. The seller should be truthful to the purchaser and should not deceive him or lie to him regarding the quality of the product, the amount it costed him etc.…

One should recite the following Duaa when entering the marketplace.

لَا إِلَه إِلَّا الله وَحده لَا شريك لَهُ لَهُ الْملك وَله الْحَمد يحيي وَيُمِيت وَهُوَ حَيّ لَا يَمُوت بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْر وَهُوَ على كل شَيْء قدير

There is no deity besides Allah Ta’ala alone, who has no partner.…

1. One should recite ta‘awwuz when commencing tilaawat of the Qur’aan Majeed.

فَاِذَا  قَرَاۡتَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ فَاسۡتَعِذۡ مِنَ بِاللَّـهِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ الرَّجِیۡمِ (سورة النحل)

When you (intend to) recite the Qur’aan, seek refuge in Allah from Shaytaan, the rejected one…
