Duaas

When reciting the Shaahadat upon completion of the wudhu, if one is in an open place, one should raise his gaze towards the sky and recite the Shaahadat.…

One should recite the following Dua upon awakening:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي رَدَّ إِلَيَّ نَفْسِي وَلَمْ يُمِتْهَا فِي مَنَامِهَا، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُمْسِكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ أَنْ تَزُولَا وَلَئِنْ زَالَتَا إنْ أمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِه إنَّهُ كَانَ حَليِمًا غَفُورًا ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءَ أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِه إنَّ اللهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيم

All praise is due to Allah Ta’ala who returned my soul to me and did not cause it to die in its sleep.…

One should recite the following Duaa upon completing his wudhu:

سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أشْهَدُ أن لَّا إلهَ إلَّا أنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إلَيك

Glory be to You, O Allah, with all Praise; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.…

One should recite the following duaa when leaving the home for Fajr salaah:

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا و فِي لِسَانِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِن خَلْفِي نُورًا ومن أَمَامِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُورًا

O Allah, illuminate my heart, illuminate my tongue, illuminate my hearing, illuminate my vision, and bless me with noor from behind me, and in front of me, and from above me and from beneath me (i.e.…

One should recite tasbeeh-e-Faatimi after every salaah i.e. 33 times Suhbaanallah, 33 times Alhamdulillah, 33 times Allahu Akbar, and complete the hundred by reciting: 

لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْر

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من سبح الله في دبر كل صلاة ثلاثا وثلاثين وحمد الله ثلاثا وثلاثين وكبر الله ثلاثا وثلاثين فتلك تسعة وتسعون وقال تمام المائة لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير غفرت خطاياه وإن كانت مثل زبد البحر ( صحيح مسلم رقم 597)

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who recites after the fardh salaah tasbeeh (Subhaanallah) 33 times, tahmeed (Alhamdulillah) 33 times, takbeer (Allahu Akbar) 33 times, and completes the hundred by reciting

لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْر

his previous (minor) sins will be forgiven even though it be as much as the foam of the ocean.”…

It is sunnah to recite the following Duaa when entering the Musjid:

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ العَظِيمِ وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيم وَسُلْطَانِهِ القَدِيم مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيم

I seek protection in Allah Ta’ala, the Great, and in His noble Countenance and His eternal might and power from the accursed Shaytaan.…

One should recite tasbeeh-e-Faatimi after every salaah i.e. 33 times Suhbaanallah, 33 times Alhamdulillah, 34 times Allahu Akbar.…

It is sunnah to recite the following Duaa when entering the Musjid:

السَّلاَمُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ اَلَّلهُمَّ افْتَح لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

May peace descend upon Hazrat Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).…

One should recite the following duaa after salaah:

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلاَ مُعْطِىَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلاَ يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ

There is no deity besides Allah Ta’ala alone, who has no partner.…

It is sunnah to recite the following Duaa when entering the Musjid:

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لَنَا أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَسَهِّلْ لَنَا أَبْوَابَ رِزْقِكَ
