Azkaar After Salaah-10

After completing one’s fardh salaah, one should place one’s right hand on his forehead and thereafter pass it over his head and recite the following duaa:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّي الْهَمَّ وَالْحَزَنَ

In the name of Allah, the One besides whom there is no other deity, the Beneficent, the Merciful. O Allah, remove from me all worries and grief.

وعن أنس بن مالك: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا صلى وفرغ من صلاته مسح بيمينه على رأسه وقال: بسم الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الرحمن الرحيم، اللهم أذهب عني الهم والحزن.وفي رواية: مسح جبهته بيده اليمنى وقال فيها: اللهم أذهب عني الهم والحزن. رواه الطبراني في الأوسط، والبزار بنحوه بأسانيد، وفيه زيد العمي، وقد وثقه غير واحد، وضعفه الجمهور، وبقية رجال أحد إسنادي الطبراني ثقات، وفي بعضهم خلاف. Hazrat Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that when Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would complete his salaah, he would pass his Mubaarak right hand over his head while reciting the following duaa:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّي الْهَمَّ وَالْحَزَنَ
