Sunnats and Aadaab of Tilaawat of the Qur’aan Majeed – Part 15

1. It is not permissible for one to recite any portion of the Qur’aan Majeed or take the name of Allah Ta’ala while in the toilet.

عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا دخل الخلاء نزع خاتمه (سنن الترمذي، الرقم: 1746)

Hazrat Anas (radiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would remove his ring when he entered the toilet.
