A Duaa for the Morning

One should recite the following Duaa in the morning:

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَالْعَظَمَةُ ، وَالْخَلْقُ وَالأَمْرُ ، وَاللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ ، وَمَا يَضْحَى فِيهِمَا لِلَّهِ وَحْدَهُ ، لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوَّلَ هَذَا النَّهَارِ صَلاحًا ، وَأَوْسَطَهُ فَلاحًا ، وَآخِرَهُ نَجَاحًا ، أَسْأَلُك خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا (والآخِرَة), يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

We and the entire creation of Allah Ta’ala spend the morning for Allah Ta’ala. All majesty and greatness, all creation and affairs, the night and the day and what transpires therein, all belong to Allah Ta’ala alone, the One  who has no partner. O Allah, make the beginning portion of this  day a source of goodness, the middle portion of this day a source of success, and the last portion of the day a means of salvation. I beseech You for the best of this world (and the Hereafter), O the most merciful of those who show mercy.

عن عبد الله بن أبي أوفي رضي الله عنه قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أصبح يقول : أصبحنا وأصبح الملك لله والكبرياء والعظمة  والخلق والأمر والليل والنهار وما يضحى فيهما لله وحده لا شريك له اللهم اجعل أول هذا النهار صلاحا وأوسطه فلاحا وآخره نجاحا أسألك خير الدنيا  يا أرحم الراحمين. Hadhrat Abdur Rahmaan bin Abi Aufah (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wsallam) would recite the following Duaa in the morning:

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَالْعَظَمَةُ ، وَالْخَلْقُ وَالأَمْرُ ، وَاللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ ، وَمَا يَضْحَى فِيهِمَا لِلَّهِ وَحْدَهُ ، لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوَّلَ هَذَا النَّهَارِ صَلاحًا ، وَأَوْسَطَهُ فَلاحًا ، وَآخِرَهُ نَجَاحًا ، أَسْأَلُك خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
