Du’aa After The Shahaadatain Of Azaan

One should reply to the words of the azaan, and after replying to the shahaadatain, one should recite the following Duaa:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي الْأَعْلَيْنَ دَرَجَتَهُ، وَفِي الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ مَحَبَّتَهُ، وَفِي الْمُقَرَّبِينَ ذِكْرَهُ

O Allah, grant Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) the ‘waseela’ (a lofty stage in Jannah)  and ‘Fadheela’(Your special grace), and elevate his stages to the highest stage (in Paradise), and bless the hearts of Your chosen servants with his special love, and bless the extremely pious of Your servants with his remembrance.

Duaa After Azaan – 3

One should recite the following Duaa after azaan:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ النَّافِعةِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَارْضَ عَنّي رِضَاءً لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ

O Allah, Rabb of this lasting call (which will continue until the day of Qiyaamah) and this beneficial salaah, confer Your special blessings upon Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and bless me with Your everlasting pleasure which is such that You would never be displeased with me thereafter.

Du’aa When Leaving Home – 2

When leaving the home, one should raise his gaze to the sky and recite the following duaa

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىّ

O Allah I seek refuge in You that I be misguided or that I become the victim of somebody else’s misguidance, or that I slip or I be caused to slip (through someone) or that I oppress or I become the victim of someone’s oppression, or I behave in an ignorant manner or I am dealt with by others in an ignorant manner.

Tasbeeh-e-Faatimi After Salaah -1

One should recite tasbeeh-e-Faatimi after every salaah i.e. 33 times Suhbaanallah, 33 times Alhamdulillah, 33 times Allahu Akbar, and complete the hundred by reciting: 

لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْر

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من سبح الله في دبر كل صلاة ثلاثا وثلاثين وحمد الله ثلاثا وثلاثين وكبر الله ثلاثا وثلاثين فتلك تسعة وتسعون وقال تمام المائة لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير غفرت خطاياه وإن كانت مثل زبد البحر ( صحيح مسلم رقم 597)

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who recites after the fardh salaah tasbeeh (Subhaanallah) 33 times, tahmeed (Alhamdulillah) 33 times, takbeer (Allahu Akbar) 33 times, and completes the hundred by reciting

لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْر

his previous (minor) sins will be forgiven even though it be as much as the foam of the ocean.”

One should recite the following duaa when leaving the home for Fajr salaah:

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا و فِي لِسَانِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِن خَلْفِي نُورًا ومن أَمَامِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُورًا

O Allah, illuminate my heart, illuminate my tongue, illuminate my hearing, illuminate my vision, and bless me with noor from behind me, and in front of me, and from above me and from beneath me (i.e.

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلاَ مُعْطِىَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلاَ يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ

There is no deity besides Allah Ta’ala alone, who has no partner.
