One should recite the following duaa after salaah:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

O Allah, I seek Your protection from kufr and poverty, and from the punishment of the grave.…

When leaving the Musjid, it is sunnah for one to recite the following Duaa

اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

O Allah, I ask You (to bless me) from Your special bounties

عن عبد الملك بن سعيد بن سويد قال سمعت أبا حميد أو أبا أسيد الأنصارى يقول قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فليقل اللهم افتح لى أبواب رحمتك وإذا خرج فليقل اللهم إنى أسألك من فضلك.…

One should recite the following duaa after salaah:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ أَعِذْنِي مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْر

O Allah, the Rabb of Jibreel, Mikaa’eel and Israafeel (Alayhimus Salaam), save me from the heat of the fire of Jahannum and the punishment of the grave

وعن عائشة قالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول في دبر كل صلاة: اللهم رب جبريل، وميكائيل، وإسرافيل، أعذني من حر النار، وعذاب القبر.…

It is sunnah for one to recite the following Duaa when leaving the Musjid

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَالسَّلامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فضلِكَ

In the name of Allah Ta’ala.…

1. After the Azaan, one should recite Durood upon Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and recite the following Duaa:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيْلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَّهُ إنَّكَ لاَتُخْلِفُ الْمِيْعَاد

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the established salaah, bestow upon Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) the ‘waseela’ (stage in Jannah)  and ‘Fadheela’(special grace), and grant him the “Maqaam Mahmood” (the honour of interceding to Allah Ta’ala to commence the reckoning for the entire creation on the day of Qiyaamah) which you promised him, indeed you do not go against your promise.…

One should recite the following Duaa after azaan:

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ رَضِيتُ باللهِ رَبًّا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولاً وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا

I bear testimony that there is no god except Allah who is alone and there is no partner for Him.…

One should reply to the words of the azaan, and after replying to the shahaadatain, one should recite the following Duaa:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي الْأَعْلَيْنَ دَرَجَتَهُ، وَفِي الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ مَحَبَّتَهُ، وَفِي الْمُقَرَّبِينَ ذِكْرَهُ

O Allah, grant Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) the ‘waseela’ (a lofty stage in Jannah)  and ‘Fadheela’(Your special grace), and elevate his stages to the highest stage (in Paradise), and bless the hearts of Your chosen servants with his special love, and bless the extremely pious of Your servants with his remembrance.…

One should recite the following Duaa after salaah

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطَئِي وَعَمْدِي، اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي لِصَالِحِ الْأَعْمَالِ وَالْأَخْلَاقِ ; إِنَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي لِصَالِحِهَا وَلَا يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ

O Allah, forgive me for my sins which I had committed mistakenly and intentionally.…

After completing the meal, one should recite the following duaa:

اَلحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَشْبَعَنَا وَأَرْوَانَا وَأَنْعَمَ وَأفْضَلَ

All praise belongs to Allah, the one who has satiated us, quenched our thirst, and has showered us with bounties and blessed us with His grace.…

One should recite the following Duaa after salaah

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّك رَبِّ الْعِزَّة عَمَّا يَصِفُون وَسَلامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ رَبِّ الْعَالمين

Your Rabb, the Rabb of Honour and Power, is free from what they ascribe (to Him)!…
