Sunnats and Aadaab of Tilaawat of the Qur’aan Majeed – Part 7

1. One should recite ta‘awwuz when commencing tilaawat of the Qur’aan Majeed.

فَاِذَا  قَرَاۡتَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ فَاسۡتَعِذۡ مِنَ بِاللَّـهِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ الرَّجِیۡمِ (سورة النحل)

When you (intend to) recite the Qur’aan, seek refuge in Allah from Shaytaan, the rejected one
