Making Masah of the Head with New Water

 
Q: Is it sunnah to take new water for making masah of the head or can one make masah with the water that remains on the hands after washing the hands?
A: It is not sunnah to take new water for making masah of the head. One should make masah with the water that remains on the hands after washing the hands.

ولو كان في كفه بلل فمسح به أجزأه سواء كان أخذ الماء من الأناء أو غسل ذراعيه وبقي بلل في كفه هو الصحيح (الفتاوى الهندية ج1 ص7)
