fruit1. Whilst eating, one should not remain completely silent. [1]
2. One should eat with three fingers if possible. (i.e. the thumb, index finger and middle finger).

Hadhrat Ka’b bin Maalik (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to eat with three fingers, and he would not wipe his hands until he licked his fingers.

3.  One should not eat very hot food.

Hadhrat Asmaa bint Abi Bakr (Radhiallahu Anhuma) relates that whenever she was given any thareed (a type of dish), she would instruct that it be covered until the food cooled down, and she would say: “I heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying that it (consuming food that is not extremely hot) is a greater source of blessings.”
