When ascending any high place during one’s journey, one should recite the following Duaa:
اَلَّلهُمَّ لَكَ الشَرَفُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَال
O Allah, for You alone is all highness (and majesty) over every high place, and for You alone is all praise in every condition
عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا علا شرفا من الأرض قال: اللهم لك الشرف على كل شرف، ولك الحمد على كل حال (عمل اليوم والليلة لابن السني رقم 522)
